Ok guys, get ready. It's a bowling and golf tournament - Wii Style, so get a partner and begin practicing. You can play in both tournaments if you think you can handle it. We'll have Wii games set up on flatscreen televisions and we'll do playoffs until there is an overall winner. Now don't let Pastor Don intimidate you just because he's an expert in both sports....:) Also, we'll have a concession stand of sloppy joes, hot dogs, chili dogs, chips, soft drinks, etc., all at cost. We are not looking to make a profit, just to replenish the money so we can do something again for our july meeting. So again, get a partner, practice, but don't strain yourself guys. Don't want anyone throwing out a back or pulling a muscle. Put it on your calendar.

Come join us for our Senior Luncheon every third Friday of the month. You don't have to be part of our church to attend. This luncheon is open to anyone 55 and over and is on a donation basis only. If you can't afford to donate, don't let that stop you, come join us anyway. This is a way for CCC to minister to our seniors in our community.

If you haven't been part of the CCC Women's Ministry on the second Tuesday night of each month, mark your calendar and make this your first. You will enjoy the Bible study, the ministering to one another and so much more. Ladies, you're missing out if you're not part of the CCC Women's Ministry.

Bring a covered dish and join us for this all-church Luncheon. Fix enough for your family as if you were going to a picnic, then, we'll put all the food together and know there will be plenty.

It's an all-church spruce up day in which we'll be coming together to make the church and the church grounds look presentable. This is God's house and we should do our best to keep it up. We need the youth, bikers and all others to come and h elp pull weeds, mow grass, trim hedges and bushes, weed eat and put down round-up etc. We will be providing lunch on the grounds and we'll have a great time of fellowship while we work together as God's children. There is no better way to get to know one another than to work together. Mark your calendar. June 2,. 9 a.m.

Come join us for a great time as the choir from the Burlington Children's Home comes to minister to us in song. You will be blessed, I'm sure.

Breakfast will consist of AYCE pancakes, sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee. Donation basis. Breakfast will end at 10 a.m. so you can enjoy one of our sunday school classes.

God is doing great things at CCC and we would like to invite you to become part of an exciting church. We are seeing new visitors at CCC nearly every Sunday and therefore we are having to step up our ministry team.

At CCC, we have taken on an intern to help our Sr. Pastor with the spiritual aspects of the church. Working with Pastor Don will be Michael Cheshire and his wife Drema. The couple have been attending school at Liberty University and are currently continuing their course of studies on-line. Michael is studying Ministry Leadership and promises to be a real asset to the staff at CCC. He will be focusing his attention on the Young Adult Ministry of CCC and working to train and disciple our young adults to become active witnesses and soul-winners for Christ.

His wife Drema will be working with the youth of CCC (along with Michael's assistance) and has a real heart and burden for today's young people. Pastor Don is excited about this young couple bringing their talents and their vision to CCC and is expecting God to win many souls through their outreach.

We are also upgrading our Men's Ministry and will be laying a foundation over the next few months to build a strong and effective ministry of men ministering to men. We are kicking off with a Men's Christmas Dinner out at the Main Street Grille in Slanesville on Tues. Eve., Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. with special Guest WTRM Radio Personality Rich Bruce. Dinner is by reservation only because of space. It's an "order off the menu" evening with each individual responsible for his own meal. Come join us for this great night out of men ministering to men.

Also in the works is a new Deaf Ministry. We are putting the details in place now and will be revealing this great and very much needed ministry early in the new year.

Come see what God is doing at CCC. The Holy Spirit is moving by His power and you can get in on the ground floor of what God is going to accomplish with the ministry He has begun in this place.

There are three from our church making a trip to Haiti in March. They will be taking health kits with them. If anyone would like to make one, the kits need to include:

• 1 hand towel
• 1 washcloth
• Large sturdy comb
• Nail file
• Bath size bar of soao
• Adult size toothbrush (sealed in original package)
• Toothpaste
• Bandaids
• Gallon size ziploc-type bag, with all items enclosed. Handtowel can be folded or rolled in order to fit.

These will be greatly appreciated! If you would like to make one or more please have them at the church by the last Sunday of February.

Also, we will be taking individually wrapped hard candy, sunglasses, small toys, and recorders (plastic instruments).
